Last summer I decided to use this blog as an outlet for talking about my radio show that I started at WCBN fm Ann Arbor! It was my first time being a DJ for a radio station and I was very excited about it! I have a different show now, Transformations, and I post my show ever week, or almost every week (which is on the air every Wednesday from 12:30-2pm) and talking about it a bit as well. You can see all of the previous shows in one spot as well by clicking on any of the links above.
My church experiment (which is pretty much on the back-burner now, but I may still do someday) is I am going to visit all the churches, synagogs, Buddhist temples, etc. that I can find in the downtown Ann Arbor area. I'm going to compare each one including how they do things, how the people are different, and how they make me feel. This is not an attempt to choose a church for myself (I really don't have any desire to do so) or to pass judgement on how different churches or religions do things. It is simply an attempt to make objective observations, get to know different kinds of people, and to have fun doing a social experiment of sorts. Currently I'm thinking of posting just voice recordings of myself talking about my experiences and of me interviewing others. I might also write a bit. If you have any suggestions about how to make this a more fun and interesting experience for myself and you, please let me know!
Hello my blog readers. Here is the latest installment of my radio free-form show, Come On, Wake Up Ann Arbor! I realized after the fact that today is Bob Dylan’s birthday! I was so upset when I found this out and hadn’t played ANY Bob Dylan during my show! So I think what I’ll do, to honor Bob Dylan, and just for funzies, is I will dedicate my next show to Bob Dylan! All Bob Dylan. For 3 hours. It’s going to be amazing! So look forward to that. Meanwhile, here is this week’s show:
